Individual Psychotherapy and Counseling

We offer individualized psychotherapy and counseling for adolescents and adults, tailored to each person’s experiences, needs, strengths, and goals. Therapy provides a supportive and confidential space to explore what is happening in your life, better understand yourself, and develop ways of navigating challenges that feel meaningful and sustainable.

People may seek therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, emotional regulation, or experiences related to Autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence.

Our approach is integrative, neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. Rather than assuming there is one “right” way to think, communicate, regulate, or function, therapy is adapted to the individual. This may include consideration of sensory needs, communication preferences, executive functioning, masking, emotional regulation, nervous system responses, and the impact of past experiences.

As part of this integrative approach, therapy may draw from DBT-informed strategies, modified EMDR, somatic therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and neurobiology-informed psychoeducation. This may include helping clients understand nervous system responses, emotional regulation, stress and trauma responses, and how the brain and body interact. The therapeutic approach is individualized around each person’s needs, preferences, experiences, and goals.

How does therapy work?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to understand what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We may explore relevant history, current concerns, strengths, relationships, coping patterns, and other factors influencing your well-being.

It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, discuss your preferences and what helps you feel comfortable in therapy, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and relevant to you. Therapy is collaborative, and these goals can evolve as your needs and experiences change.
Ongoing Sessions
Ongoing individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes and may take place weekly or at a frequency that fits your needs. Sessions may involve processing experiences, developing practical skills, exploring patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, building greater self-understanding, and working toward changes that are meaningful to you.

There is no expectation that everyone progresses in the same way or at the same pace. We regularly check in about what is and is not working so that therapy can continue to evolve alongside your needs and goals.

Sessions are available in person in Dubai and online globally.
